In 1997 a couple of 2nd Kingsville leaders were looking for something fun and
challenging. These two young men ran into an enthusiastic rover skip without a crew. Together these
three men formed the 2nd Leamington Rover Crew. Soon after that it was decided that our crew would be
different and we would be Les Voyageurs. Over the next three scouting years our crew grew from 2
members and a skip to 6 members and a skip. In January of 2001 our crew made a vote that would change
things forever for our members. We decided to form our own group committee as the 6th Leamington
Scouting Movement. Since that move we have gained three new members and an associate. As time goes
on we hope to grow even more adding other sections to our movement starting soon with cubs and scouts.
